African Energy Week (AEW) 2026

African Energy Week (AEW) is the African Energy Chamber’s flagship annual event, bringing together African energy leaders, global investors, and senior public- and private-sector executives for high-level dialogue on the future of Africa’s energy industry. As an interactive conference, exhibition, and networking platform, AEW was established in 2021 with the objective of making energy poverty history by 2030.

AEW convenes panel discussions, investor forums, industry summits, and targeted one-to-one meetings that shape investment decisions and influence the direction of Africa’s energy development. Serving as the official meeting place for Africa’s energy elite, the event promotes Africa’s role in global energy markets through African-led dialogue and decision-making.

Covering the full energy value chain, upstream, midstream, and downstream, AEW is the only conference on the continent that represents the entire energy sector in one integrated platform. Rather than focusing on constraints, AEW emphasizes collaboration and integration to reverse Africa’s resource curse, support energy exploration and production, and unlock inclusive economic growth.
