ROB4GREEN Open Call 1 invites innovators to contribute to the next generation of AI-enabled robotic solutions that support circular, sustainable manufacturing across Europe.
Total Budget: €2,400,000
Funding per Project: €300,000
Number of Funded Projects: 8
Consortium Size: 2 or 3 partners
What Selected Consortia Receive
- Financial support for solution development and pilot validation
- Access to technical mentoring and domain expertise
- Testing and demonstration in real industrial Re-X environments
- Increased visibility through ROB4GREEN’s European dissemination channels and partner network
Focus Areas
The Open Call addresses four thematic areas aligned with different levels of the circular economy:
- AI, Data and Robotics for Life Extension
Solutions supporting inspection, diagnostics, and repair to extend product lifetimes. - AI, Data and Robotics for Value Retention
Flexible robotic systems and AI tools enabling refurbishing, remanufacturing, and repurposing at industrial scale. - AI, Data and Robotics for Parts Harvesting
AI-enabled robotics for selective dismantling and recovery of high-value components. - AI, Data and Robotics for Decommissioning and Recycling
Technologies supporting safe decommissioning and high-quality material recovery, prioritising reuse and recycling.
Timeline
- Application Period: 04 February 2026 – 08 April 2026
- Eligibility and Technical Check: 09 April 2026 – 15 May 2026
- Results Announcement: 16 May 2026 – 31 May 2026
- Project Implementation: 01 June 2026 – 01 March 2027
Eligibility
Eligible Consortia
- Consortia must consist of at least two (2) independent entities.
- All participating entities must be independent from the ROB4GREEN consortium.
- Each consortium may submit only one proposal.
Eligible Applicants
- Legal entities established and based in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe Associated Country.
- Applicants should have a valid VAT number and PIC.
- Applicants should be able to demonstrate financial stability and operational capacity
- Applicants should not be bankrupt, under liquidation, or considered an enterprise in difficulty according to EU regulations.
- Applicants should not have been convicted for fraud, corruption, or other illegal or unethical business practices.
- Applicants should not be subject to EU restrictive measures (sanctions).
