Maelezo
Overview
The Creativity Pioneers Fund 2026 supports cultural and creative organisations using creativity as a driver of social change. It invests in organisations advancing bold, inclusive, and socially engaged practices that contribute to more just and equitable societies. The €5,000 grant serves as an entry point into a broader ecosystem of support, including mentorship, peer learning, networking, visibility, and access to additional resources.
Funding Approach
This unearmarked micro-grant of 5.000€ is a starting point for a broader, long-term collaboration. It opens access to additional financial resources, in-kind support, mentorship, learning opportunities, peer-to-peer exchange, as well as greater visibility and networking.
Eligibility
The call is open globally to legally registered nonprofit organisations.
Applicants must:
- Have an organisational bank account in the organisation’s name.
- The Fund prioritises organisations that place creativity at the centre of their mission, work with marginalised communities (particularly youth aged 16–27), and demonstrate strong local grounding with broader social relevance.
What the Fund Prioritises
Preference is given to organisations that:
- Address complex social and environmental challenges
- Operate through interdisciplinary and intersectional approaches
- Focus on long-term systemic change rather than short-term outputs, and
- Demonstrate strong local embeddedness while remaining globally connected.
- The Fund also values initiatives that develop critical thinking, learning capacity, and new generations of creative changemakers.
Application Process
- Applications are submitted via an external platform (idea360) between 30 March and 24 April 2026.
- Final award decisions will be announce in September 2026
- Agreements will be finalised and funds disbursed by December 2026
