The future of the Africa-Europe relationship must move beyond interdependence toward co-sovereignty—a partnership where Europe gains technological resilience while Africa achieves digital and industrial autonomy. The role of intellectual property in that development is of key importance it is not only a matter of industrial revolution: it is a tool that can be used by all parties to assist in the building of bridges between the two continents to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals while creating economic growth.
