Cleva Summit, Germany

The Cleva Summit is a global platform designed to unite Black founders, investors, policymakers, and ecosystem builders across Africa, Europe, and North America. It exists to bridge fragmented entrepreneurial ecosystems and create a structured pipeline for cross-border partnerships, capital flow, and global scaling opportunities for Black-led ventures. The first Cleva Summit 2026, scheduled to take place from 15-17 April 2026 in Dortmund, Germany, under the theme: “Germany-Africa Growth Corridor: Building the Black Global Economy.”

The Cleva Summit is an international convening platform designed to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, corporate leaders, legal experts, academics, and ecosystem builders from across Africa, Europe, and North America to foster cross-border collaboration in innovation, trade, investment, and entrepreneurship. The Summit was conceived as a response to the persistent fragmentation within global Black entrepreneurial ecosystems, where many high-potential founders and ventures remain disconnected from capital networks, strategic partnerships, and international markets that are necessary for sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

Over the past year, the CLEVA platform has steadily evolved into a multi-location global convening initiative, bringing together diverse stakeholders to build practical pathways for cross-border economic collaboration. Previous editions have been convened in Canada and the United Kingdom, with a notable gathering where entrepreneurs, investors, policy experts, and diaspora leaders came together to discuss pathways for strengthening Africa’s integration into the global innovation economy.
