Melanin Kapital, in partnership with IYBA WE4A, is organising an online Credit Readiness Webinar to help women-led green SMEs better understand business financing requirements and prepare for future funding opportunities.

The webinar is designed to provide practical guidance on what lenders assess during the loan approval process and how businesses can improve their financing readiness.

What Participants Will Learn

The webinar will cover:

  • What lenders look for before approving a loan.
  • Understanding cash flow, repayment capacity, and collateral requirements.
  • Key business documents needed for financing applications.
  • An introduction to Kapital Fit, Melanin Kapital’s credit readiness programme.
  • Practical lessons from a real entrepreneur’s funding journey.

Speaker

The session will be led by Mélanie Keïta, Co-Founder and CEO of Melanin Kapital. An impact finance professional with over ten years of experience, she leads one of Africa’s leading digital platforms supporting SMEs in accessing green finance. Under her leadership, Melanin Kapital has facilitated more than US$1.6 million in financing for African SMEs.
