The Africa Early Stage Investor Summit (AESIS) is the meeting place for Africa-focused early-stage investors.

Since 2013, ABAN and VC4A have partnered to host AESIS, the continent’s leading gathering of early-stage investors, angel networks, venture capitalists, and ecosystem builders.

Each year features a programme of virtual masterclasses and investor meetups, culminating in a two-day flagship summit. The 2026 summit will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, on 25–26 November, bringing together leaders from across the African investment ecosystem to shape the future of startup investing on the continent.

At #AESIS2026, we will explore how bold capital, visionary leadership, and strategic adaptation are shaping an investment ecosystem that is resilient, inclusive, and authentically African.
