Opportunities for Urban Diplomacy and Innovation

The Association of African Universities (AAU), in collaboration with the Institut für qualifizierende Innovationsforschung und -beratung GmbH (IQIB) and with support from the Technopolis Group, is pleased to invite members and interested stakeholders to the first official meeting of the Urban Diplomacy Community of Practice (CoP) under the Africa-Europe Innovation Platform (AEIP).

Theme: Opportunities for Urban Diplomacy and Innovation

This session will bring together representatives from cities, local authorities, academia, civil society organisations, and innovation ecosystems to explore how urban diplomacy and innovation can strengthen international cooperation, foster knowledge exchange, and contribute to more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable cities.

The Community of Practice brings stakeholders together to learn from each other, collaborate, and share experiences as they address urban challenges and advance sustainable urban development across Africa and Europe.
