The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) is pleased to announce the Africa NDE Forum 2026, scheduled to take place from 23 to 26 March 2026 in Hammamet, Tunisia. This in-person meeting will convene government representatives, partners, and climate technology leaders from across the African continent.

Event Objectives
The Forum aims to showcase how climate technologies, innovation systems, and digital solutions are driving system-level transformation for climate resilience. Key focus areas include:

• Adaptation and Mitigation across multiple sectors.
• Cross-sectoral enablers such as:
  • Capacity building and training
  • Communication and awareness
  • Economics and financial decision-making
  • Governance and planning
  • Innovation, research, development, and demonstration (RDD)

Building on over a decade of impact in more than 110 developing countries, the Forum will highlight regional priorities, successful technical assistance experiences, and emerging opportunities aligned with Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Technology Needs Assessments (TNAs), and Technology Action Plans (TAPs) .

Programme Highlights
The event will be held alongside a region-tailored capacity-building programme on National Systems of Innovation (NSI) for Climate Resilience and Access. This combination will provide a dynamic platform for dialogue, networking, and partnership-building among African countries and the broader climate ecosystem.

Participating National Designated Entities (NDEs) will explore pathways to scale climate technologies across key sectors, including energy, agriculture, water, mobility, and digitalization, with a strong emphasis on mobilizing finance and enhancing implementation.
