About

The BIC Africa Online Training 2026 will provide business incubators across Africa with a unique opportunity to connect with experts in incubation and innovative entrepreneurship. Organised by EBN through the BIC Africa project, this training is split into two interactive sessions facilitated by leading experts from SPI – Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação an EU|BIC community members from Portugal.

Session 1 – 19 February 2026: New Product Development — a comprehensive introduction with practical guidance and examples to help incubators strengthen product development for themselves and their clients.

Session 2 – 26 February 2026: Emerging Trends in Entrepreneurship/Technology and Using AI Technology in Incubators — insights into the latest trends and practical strategies for leveraging AI technology in incubation.

Both sessions will include Q&A opportunities, ensuring participants gain actionable knowledge and connections.

Registration is open to business incubator managers or staff from Sub-Saharan African countries. Attendance is free of charge, and the sessions will take place online on Zoom and all the sessions will be held in English.

The programme is organised by the BIC Africa Project funded by the European Union and implemented by EBN.
