À propos

WHAT: Two free webinars.

WHY: In today’s competitive funding landscape, a brilliant idea isn’t enough: you need the skill to translate that idea into a compelling narrative that secures funding. The two planned webinars are designed to empower researchers and aspiring innovators to successfully mobilise funding for scientific research and innovation projects. Participants will gain practical strategies, tips, and actionable advice for crafting compelling funding proposals that resonate with reviewers and evaluators.

These will not be typical webinars, but rather tactical guides to enhancing your probabilities of winning funding resources in two distinct areas:

WEBINAR 2: Writing a Funding Proposal for a Technology Innovation Project
WHEN: 30 April 2026
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM CAT
WHERE: Zoom (link to be provided to registrants before the event/s).
Target Audience: Innovators, entrepreneurs, and researchers seeking resources to move scientific technology research outputs/outcomes toward the market.

Key Focus: Writing for innovation-specific funders requires a different lens. Applicants for funding need to focus more on demonstrating a compelling need and appropriate solution, commercial viability, scalability, and technical feasibility, just some of the « must-haves » for securing investment and innovation-led funding.

While research and innovation proposals share foundational similarities, there are critical differences in requirements and expectations from the respective funders. The two webinars will help proposal writers understand and navigate these nuances to ensure their applications stand out in a competitive funding landscape.

PARTICIPANTS MAY ATTEND ONE OR BOTH WEBINARS DEPENDING ON THEIR FUNDING NEEDS.
